The new covers of the imaginary magazine The Sofianer
will be presented on 2 September 2024 with an outdoor exhibition

"What is priceless in Sofia for you?"
Under this question, for the third year in a row, the art project for the cover of the imaginary magazine The Sofianer of Credo Bonum Foundation and Multi Kulti Collective sought the authentic and diverse face of the capital and life in it through an open invitation, in which a record number of participants took part.
The 27 selected covers will be officially presented to the public in an exhibition in the Crystal Garten on 2 September 2024, Monday, at 6 p.m. The exhibition will be open until 15 September, and the covers will also be available for purchase as posters at the project site www.sofianer.com
The legendary magazine The New Yorker, with its urban spirit and classic look, started a global movement in which cities from all over the world make their imaginary covers. Thus appeared The Parisianer, The Tokyoiter, Le Montrealer, The Brusseler, The Milaneser, The Sofianer, and for the first time this year, The Tarnovian, dedicated to Veliko Tarnovo.
From over 200 proposals for covers, the jury had to choose this year, consisting of Adriyana Mihaylova, founder, #soSofia and Imp-Act Agency, Andria Brulet-Rodriguez, deputy ambassador, US Embassy in Bulgaria, Anton Penev, OP Tourism, Bistra Ivanova, chairwoman, Multi Kulti Collective, Vessela Nozharova, curator, Credo Bonum Gallery, Yordan Zhechev, creative director at guts&brains DDB advertising agency, Mira Miroslavova, visual artist and illustrator of children's books, Simeon Vassilev, project manager, Credo Bonum Foundation.
The project was implemented with the financial support of the US Embassy in Bulgaria, Mastercard and 5l Speakeasy Bar.
