After four years of covers, exhibitions, and encounters with audiences, The Sofianer is becoming a book. Join us for the official book launch:

The Central Market Hall (Halite), Level -1, Sofia 

You can expect a luxurious bilingual hardcover edition (Bulgarian/English) bringing together 60 contemporary artists and featuring essays by Georgi Gospodinov, Konstantin Valkov, and Visit Sofia. The book includes 72 of the best covers to date, some of which are presented to the public for the first time. This is a book about Sofia – told through images, perspectives, and artistic interpretations. A book about the city as memory, as atmosphere, as identity. 

In 2024, The Sofianer invited 5 of its most beloved artists to create a special series of Christmas postcards. Thank you to the artists missmetoday, Milena Mitkova, Damyan Damyanov, Christo Komarnitski и Mariana Sarbova.

Credo Bonum Foundation and Multi Kulti Collective announce an open invitation to artists and illustrators to offer their view of Sofia in the form of a cover of the imaginary magazine The Sofianer in the spirit of the legendary American magazine

Part of the covers of the imaginary magazine The Sofianer, in the spirit of the legendary American publication The New Yorker, will be guests at the first Bacchus Bar & Snack Fest, on 10-11 September 2022 in front of Kino Cabana in Sofia (opposite of the former Kravai).

On 11 September (Sunday) from 18:00, a public discussion will be held on the development of Sofia, the urban environment, urban causes and the power of art to provoke public debate and make us dream and act. The panellists are vibrant urban characters and artists and will be revealed soon.
